is designed for static meters operation either with simple registers
or with smart, programmable functions, performed by the ETD during their manufacturing
(technological part) and through operational utilization of static meters. For programming there
are used calibration equipment (calibration constants) and PCs (the ports COM, USB), where the optical
head is connected for performance of serial two-way communication with ETD in accordance
with IEC/EN 62056-21.
The program permits execution of:
• Optimalization of measuring curves into the limits, corresponding
to required class of meter;
• Modification of some meter parameters (identification of the
meter, the times, the dates, ...);
• Reading of registers contents and other parameters and
performance, comprised in the meter;
• Activation of some activities (modes) of ETD (calibration,
reading, resetting, ...;
• Archiving of set parameters and read data from the meter ETD
in the PC.
